Bees may be small, but they play a big role in human health and survival. They pollinate everything from apples and zucchini to blueberries and almonds. If bees and other pollinators are at risk, entire terrestrial ecosystems are at risk, and so are we.
One-third of the food we eat comes from pollination due to honeybees. To put it simply, it is about one in every three bites of food.
Following the family tradition of hobby beekeeping, in 2009 Nick Stewart bought a few hives and started his own apiary in his backyard. At just two years of age, his son Monty joined Nick on his visits to the beehives in his little bee suit.
It is now a cool family thing!
Stewart Family Honey is 100% natural, unfiltered and unprocessed. Harvested using organic artisan principles and flows straight from ‘hive to jar’.
Nick’s children, Monty & Bea, love the sense of responsibility that comes with looking after the bees. Alongside Nick, they ensure every bottle of Stewart Family Honey is delicious with naturally occurring seasonal floral tastes.
“Beekeeping is a rewarding and sustainable hobby. Honey bees have interesting habits and complex societies, and tending them can be a calming and peaceful experience”
- Nick Stewart
We know the hardest part to reuse a beautiful glass jar always seems to be getting off the label. There’s always a moment of anticipation right before trying to peel it off and the hope it will actually come off easily.
But with Stewart Family Honey jars, it does. We made our labels peel off easily and leave zero marks behind them.
